Scarlett Lotus King is one of Edison Zhang’s masterpieces combining traditional Chinese culture with graffiti art. The composition and coloring of this work are sparse, simple, concise, and precise. With its unique lines and color matching, Edison has created a masterpiece connecting the beauty of agility and rhythm, cutting out the complex to make art simple, removing the wasteful to leave the essence, and enriching the shape with the elemental items to replace the old-fashioned depiction of the object, thus making the work a novel artistic conception, just like nature.
